Our client is in search of a dedicated full-time Home Health Registered Nurse (RN). The perfect candidate will provide expert nursing care, excel in communication and teamwork, and place patient safety at the forefront. Essential qualities include robust organizational abilities, the capacity for autonomous work, and a steadfast dedication to maintaining confidentiality. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in home health care.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Associate degree or higher
• Over one year of experience in any of the following areas:
  
  • Acute Care
  • Emergency Department (ED)
  • Critical Care
  • Oncology
  • Burn Unit/Wound Clinic
  • Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg)
  • Home Health Care
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey (NJ)
• Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)

Preferred:

• Bilingual in Spanish
• RN License Number
• List any specialized certifications you may have

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct or indirect skilled comprehensive nursing care to various age and diagnostic groups
• Utilize nursing process for data collection, planning, and evaluation of care
• Implement prevention, therapeutic, and rehabilitative nursing care
• Conduct effective interviews, set limits, and collect relevant data
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare providers, third parties, patients, and families
• Maintain awareness of patient comfort and safety needs
• Observe and report significant conditions, reactions, and incidents
• Respond to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocols
• Utilize oral and written communication to convey pertinent information to the healthcare team

Schedule:

• 8:30am-4:30pm, 1-2 Saturdays per month
• Includes working one summer and one winter holiday
